5th ave and 39th street Sunset Park Brooklyn.

This bar has found a new owner. We are all waiting to find out what will become of this landmark spot. I am crossing my fingers that it does not transform into another 99 cent store or similar. The location is great because 2 bus lines cross here which make it quite visible.

FIT Photo Students Hit up Sunset Park

Free Baseball

From a parent who had their child involved last year:
"Sunset Park Recreation center has a baseball and t-ball league open for registration right now. My daughter was in it last year and it was all she could talk about during the school year :) She absolutely loved it! They play all summer long and practice once a week. Coaches are volunteers (if you's like to help let them know that as well). The uniforms are also free. The only thing you'd have to pay for is the recreation center membership ($25-50). The membership includes axis to the gym, computer lab, and other activities like yoga in addition to the baseball league.

The center is located in the park 7th ave and 43rd street 718-965-6533... "
