What is Sunset Park Stills?

Sunset Park Stills is a photo blog. Mainly photographs of landmarks or happenings in the area. On occasion, if there is some extra information that I did not know or perhaps not widely known, I'll add it in.

Being a photographer myself, I naturally looked for images of the area in which I reside. Finding very few, I went on a personal photo journey and shot just about everything I saw in Sunset Park.

The neighborhood is harmoniously divided between eastern and western cultures. What I have found is that this part of Brooklyn, is fundamentally the same as any other town in the USA. We've got churches, parks, dancers, hipsters, artists, skaters, writers, and entrepreneurs. All of us working class trying to make our way in the world.

Hopefully, you have enjoyed looking at this micro neighborhood though my (and my neighbor's) eyes. Maybe it's just a place to some, for others like myself, it's a live documentation of Living the American Dream.
